The East Bay Chapter Association for California Nurse Leaders.
Located between San Francisco and the Napa Valley wine country, the East Bay boasts great outdoor activities such as biking along the Iron Horse Regional Trail, a 32-mile paved path that follows the way of the Southern Pacific Railroad or hiking the Contra Costa Canal Trail, which shadows the route of a 1930s' canal and connects to the grassy hills of Lime Ridge Open Space.
Many of the communities here host weekend Farmer’s Markets offering freshly picked fruit and vegetables, just-laid eggs and sweet-scented flowers. In the center of it all is Mt. Diablo, towering 3,849 feet (1,173 meters) which is visible from most of the San Francisco Bay Area. The summit is accessible by foot, bicycle, or motor vehicle. Road access is via North Gate Road or South Gate Road. Also you can hike in various places in Mount Diablo. The East Bay is a great place to live, work, and visit!
